About Best Rentals
Best Rentals was started in 1980 by Walter and Sandra Terry in Rocky Mount, NC. The opening inventory consisted of a few hand tools, a lawnmower and a chain saw. In the years since, the business has grown to include a wide variety of equipment rentals and party rentals, as well as contractor supplies and party supplies.
The Terry’s children, Scott Terry and Debbie Gibson, have been involved in the business since they were very small and now continue the long-standing reputation of Best Rentals: to treat our customers and suppliers as we want to be treated ourselves.

As of January 2020, our party and event rentals are available only in our Rocky Mount Store. Table and chair rentals are still available in our Wilson Store.
